It was reported that two people named Manivannan and Prashanth from Salem Thalaivasal area were involved in activities such as determining the sex of the child through scans at their home and performing abortions.
A team led by Shanthi, the Dharmapuri District Health Department, conducted an investigation and arrested both Manivannan and Prashanth.
