Train Fare Hike Across India from July 1: Check New Railway Ticket Prices and Updated Fare List

The Railway Minister had announced that railway fares will be increased across India.
Following this, the train ticket fare hike has come into effect from July 1 today.
Train ticket fare hike details
It was announced that AC classes will be increased by 2 paise per kilometer, ordinary classes by 1 paise per kilometer, and second class will not have any fare up to 500 kilometers.

Fare explanation

No fare hike up to 500 kilometers
5 rupees will be increased from 501 to 1500 kilometers
10 rupees will be increased from 1500 to 2500 kilometers
15 rupees will be increased from 2501 to 3000 kilometers

Sleeper and ordinary class tickets will be increased by half a paise per kilometer.

Mail and Express Trains

Sleeper and First and Second Class tickets will be increased by 1 paise

AC Class 1, 2 and 3 Class tickets with air-conditioned seats will be increased by 2 paise per kilometre
There will be no increase in fares for Suburban and Seasonal trains.
