While the Uttar Pradesh police were involved in an operation to sell illegal weapons in the state of Uttar Pradesh,

A suspect was questioned and he tried to escape from the police. When he was called and questioned, his name was Sushansu Kumar Verma. The police seized them from him.

More than ten countrymade guns and cartridges have been seized.
An investigation is also underway to find out where such guns are manufactured and to whom they were sold.

Several suspects were arrested in the search conducted last night.
More than 25 guns and cartridges have been seized in most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Unnao, Kanpur and Etah.
The easy availability of guns in such states is causing great fear among the people.
