Dhanush had already filed a legal notice demanding Rs 10 crore for the removal of scenes from the film Naamun Rowdy Than without asking his company.

Following this, those scenes were removed.

Following this, APN International had also filed a case demanding that scenes from the film Chandramukhi be removed without asking them. The Madras High Court has postponed the hearing of the case, asking Netflix to respond to this notice.

A documentary about Nayanthara was released on Netflix two months ago, which included videos related to Nayanthara’s life and marriage and some scenes from films in which Nayanthara acted.

Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan fell in love during the production of the film Naanum Rowdy Than, and therefore, they released the documentary using 10 seconds of footage from the film.
Dhanush, the chairman of Undercover, asked for 10 crores for using those 10 seconds and did not give any copyright no objection. Therefore, those 10 seconds of video were removed.
Dhanush had said that he had suffered a loss of 10 crores due to Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara using the call sheet properly in the budget given for the film Naanum Rowdy Than.

Following this, APN International has also filed a case, claiming that some footage from the film Chandramukhi was used without their consent.

The Madras High Court has adjourned the hearing of the case, asking Netflix to respond to this.
